How long does it take until I receive the quotes?
That depends on your project. A short site visit is usually needed first. After that, you receive the 3 quotes as quickly as possible.
What does a solar installation cost in Switzerland?
The costs depend on the size of the installation, the condition of the roof and the technology chosen. A typical installation for a single-family house usually costs between CHF 15’000 and 30’000. The quotes show you the exact prices for your project.
What subsidies are available for solar installations?
The federal government supports solar installations with the one-off subsidy (EIV). Depending on the canton and municipality, there are further subsidies. In the quotes, we show you which subsidies are available for your project.
What happens after my request?
We contact you personally and clarify open questions about your roof and your electricity consumption. Then we obtain 3 quotes from solar companies in your region and go through them with you.
Will several solar companies call me?
No. Heimtreffer is your point of contact and coordinates the solar companies for you. A company only contacts you directly if an appointment on site is needed.
Is a solar installation worth it for my house?
That depends on your roof, your electricity consumption and your electricity utility’s tariff. The more solar power you use yourself, the faster the installation pays for itself. The quotes show you the figures for your house.
Do I need battery storage?
No, a solar installation also works without one. A battery increases the share of solar power you use yourself, but costs extra. On request, we have both options quoted.
Do I need a building permit for a solar installation?
Usually not. For solar installations on the roof, a notification to the municipality is generally sufficient. A permit is required, for example, for protected buildings or in core zones. We clarify this for you.
